Roberto R. Narváez
Roberto R Narváez received an MA in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His research interests include the history of scientific methods, the history of religions and philosophy, the history of psychical research in Europe and North America, classical American pragmatism, and the history of espionage and secret communications (cryptology) in Spain, Mexico, and the United States. He has been a teacher at UNAM and other universities in Mexico City. In 2019 he was a “Visiting Scholar” at the University of Texas at Austin. He has edited and published collections of historical manuscripts and is author of the only book ever written on the history of Mexican cryptography. He is currently investigating the famous Thouless case and a few others, concerning the use of codes and ciphers in the history of psychical research.
