Callum E. Cooper, PhD, is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, holding higher degrees with focus on: psychology, thanatology, social science research methods and education. He is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Northampton within its Faculty of Health and Society where he also lectures on parapsychology, thanatology, human sexual behaviour and positive psychology. He has appeared on UK and USA radio and TV shows as a representative for parapsychology. He is well recognised in the UK for his sceptical activisim, delivering public lectures on the use of scepticism in science and the importance of outing fraudulent activities within science and science communication. In his writings, he is most recognised for his work on bereavement and recovery, and also, altered-states of consciousness.
