Trevor Hamilton has degrees from Oxford, London, Sussex and Exeter Universities, most recently a PhD assessing the work of FWH Myers and colleagues. He retired as Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth in 2006. He is the author of three books: Arthur Balfour’s Ghosts: An Edwardian Elite and the Riddle of the Cross-Correspondence Automatic Writings (Exeter: Imprint Academic 2018), Tell My Mother I’m Not Dead. A Case Study in Mediumship Research (Exeter: Imprint Academic 2012). and Immortal Longings: FWH Myers and the Victorian Search for Life after Death (Exeter: Imprint Academic 2009). He is currently doing research on the mediums Gladys Osborne Leonard and Geraldine Cummins.
