Trevor Hamilton has degrees from Oxford, London and Sussex Universities. He retired as Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth at the end of December 2006. He is the author of two books: Immortal Longings: FWH Myers and the Victorian Search for Life after Death (Exeter: Imprint Academic 2009) and Tell My Mother I’m Not Dead. A Case Study in Mediumship Research (Exeter: Imprint Academic 2012). His new book, Arthur Balfour’s Ghosts: An Edwardian Elite and the Cross-Correspondence Automatic Writings will be published in the first part of 2017. He is currently doing research on the mediums Gladys Osborne Leonard and Geraldine Cummins.
